Faculty Positions – Nuclear Medicine Radiology, University of Miami Health System / Miller School of Medicine. The Division of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Miami Health System and Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists for full-time and part-time faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) on the clinical educator track.

Transforming Radiology Through AI

The University of Miami Health System is a national leader in integrating FDA-cleared AI algorithms into clinical workflows. In emergency and trauma radiology, AI enhances detection of life-threatening conditions such as intracranial hemorrhage, pneumothorax, and pulmonary embolism—enabling faster diagnoses and prioritization of critical findings. Faculty have the opportunity to engage in research and development of AI applications within a collaborative academic setting.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy and theranostics is highly desired as the Division is quite active in conventional and new therapies for thyroid cancer, lymphoma, neuroendocrine tumors, and prostate cancer, among others

  • Participate in clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows

  • Contribute to academic research, innovation, and scholarly activities

  • Engage in departmental quality improvement, call coverage, and institutional service

Qualifications
  • MD or DO, with completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency

  • Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent experience preferred

  • Dual Board-certified (American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine) or board-eligible

  • Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license

  • Academic experience preferred; recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply
