Position Overview:The Department of Medicine, Division of Transplant Pulmonary, is seeking an Assistant Professor of Clinical. The UMMG Faculty Physician – Transplant Pulmonology will provide medical care to patients, documenting thoroughly in medical records as per staff regulations. Responsibilities include managing patient assignments based on expertise, collaborating with transplant pulmonologists and critical care physicians, and providing care at the Miami Transplant Institute and affiliated hospitals.
The role also involves contributing to undergraduate and graduate medical education.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. from an ABIM-recognized internal medicine residency.
- Valid ABIM Certification in Pulmonology.
- Unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience; specialized transplant pulmonology training and academic experience preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong clinical knowledge in transplant pulmonology.
