To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position using the Career worklet, please review this .The Division of Breast Imaging in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track.

The successful applicant will join a faculty of 70 clinical radiologists who are involved in imaging at multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital (a primary, tertiary, and qua ternary care County hospital) and from the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics. ** CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
*** Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
* Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.
* Provide clinical imaging services, mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and intervention.
* In addition to the rich clinical experience, faculty will participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conference.
* Supervise the performance of technical personnel.
* Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.
* Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of breast imaging.
* Provide breast imaging consultation as requested.
* Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair.
* Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of breast imaging.
* Participate in teaching activities related to breast imaging as required in:  + Diagnostic Radiology and integrated Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology Residency programs  + Breast Imaging Fellowship Program  + Medical student education program  + Radiologic technologist educational programs  + Continuing Medical Education programs
