Position: MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hepatology

Description

We are seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Hepatology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with liver diseases, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our clients. You will be involved in a variety of projects focused on Hepatology, ensuring the highest standard of care and medical expertise.

As an MD or DO specializing in Hepatology, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing specialized medical care to patients with liver conditions. Your role is essential in managing and treating liver diseases, conducting thorough evaluations, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat patients with liver diseases.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' liver health.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in Hepatology.
  • Educate patients and their families about liver health and disease management.
  • Participate in conferences, seminars, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Hepatology or Gastroenterology.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating liver diseases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

2 procedure days, 2 clinic days, and 1 academic day per week

Shifts:

Monday-Friday, 8-hour days

1:7 call rotation

Inpatient rounding once per week

Procedures and Fibro Scan readings required

Teaching position

Support Staff: APPs, full sub-specialty support

EMR:
Cerner, Epic

Must be board-certified
