Summary of
Job Responsibilities:
The staff physician per diem (Clinical) is responsible for providing direct outpatient care to Rheumatology patients at UHealth Locations. He/she will provide outpatient clinical care at UHealth Locations 2 full days a month.
Qualifications:
- MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency
- Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)
- Board Certification in Rheumatology
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.
- Must be able to provide prerequisite case logs
- Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
- Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
- Current BLS certification required.
- Valid DEA licensure
