Description

This is a contract position that requires an on-site presence, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care and oncology practices in a vibrant medical environment.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for oncology patients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to deliver exceptional medical services and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for oncology patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and procedures
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Stay informed about advancements in oncology and treatment methodologies
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
  • Experience in medical oncology or a related field (Associate level)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development

Schedule:

4-day workweek, 8-hour shifts. Rotating call shifts. Setting:
Outpatient. Patient Census: 18-20 per day. Duties:
General medical oncology caseload. Will participate in virtual tumor boards. Clinical trial and research opportunities are available. EMR:
Epic. Must be board-certified.
