Synovation Medical Group is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician to join our outpatient pain medicine team, serving patients at our South Miami, Hallandale, and Homestead locations.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with substance use disorders, including those with coexisting chronic pain. The physician will collaborate with our providers and clinical staff to deliver individualized care that supports recovery, patient safety, and improved quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and medications for opioid use disorder when clinically appropriate.
• Coordinate care with pain medicine providers for patients with chronic pain and addiction concerns.
• Monitor treatment progress, medication response, and patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, recovery, and overdose prevention.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with behavioral health professionals and other specialists as needed.

Locations

This position supports our three South Florida clinics:
South Miami, Hallandale, and Homestead . Schedule and location coverage will be discussed during the interview process.
