Assistant Project Coordinator

The Southeast Pastoral Institute (SEPI), in Miami, Florida, is hiring a full-time Prayer and Worship for Children Assistant Project Coordinator
. S/he provides administrative, logistical, and pastoral support for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Prayer and Worship for Children program. This position reports to and works closely with the Prayer and Worship for Children Project Coordinator to ensure the effective operation and growth of the program across various dioceses. The candidate performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Responsibilities include:

Administrative and Logistical Support:

  • Record and organize evaluations of program activities.
  • Collaborate in preparing annual reports for the funding organization.
  • Manage registrations, attendance lists, and databases for communities and participants.
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including flight purchases and lodging reservations, in communication with the Project Coordinator.
  • Handle the purchase and preparation of materials and online orders.

Pastoral and Program Support:

  • Work with the Project Coordinator to prepare annual training workshops in various dioceses and classes for the Young Formation Program.
  • Develop and facilitate sessions during workshops; design, edit, and produce program resources.
  • Travel as needed to support the organization and implementation of program events.
  • Maintain communication with participating communities through virtual meetings, emails, calls, and group chats.
  • Assist with communication with diocesan Hispanic ministry directors, pastors, and catechetical leaders.
  • Help plan program conferences and special events.
  • Design and prepare digital materials and graphic resources as needed.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and support the institution’s mission and initiative.
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish to engage effectively with the target community, leaders, and team members.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple project responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Canva, Excel, Word, Zoom, and Whats App.
