Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an opening for a part-time Teacher Assistant for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The Teacher Aide will assist the classroom teacher in providing support to students in grades 4-5. Responsibilities include helping with classroom activities, assisting students with assignments, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting the teacher in daily tasks.
The Teacher Aide will also work closely with students to reinforce lessons and provide additional support as needed. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
- Associates degree required; BS / BA Degree in Education preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Effective presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel;
PowerPoint a plus. - Strong oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
