School Faculty - Elementary - St. Brendan Catholic School

St. Brendan Elementary Catholic School in Miami, Florida, is hiring a candidate qualified to join our talented and professional team as a Pre-K2 Teacher for the upcoming 2025- 26 school year. The applicant must be a nurturing, creative, and dedicated professional with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills, design instructions to motivate and engage all learners, and develop thematic units.

The Pre-K2 Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

• AA degree in Early Childhood education/Child development or related field preferred.
• 2 years’ experience working in a pre-school classroom required.
• Must have begun Part 1 and 2 of DCF courses, having taken the competency exam for one.
• After one year
  - State 40 hours’ childcare training with DCF completed with all competency exams.
• Universal Precautions/Exposure Plan course form DCF.
• Safe Sleep/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training.
• Current CPR course.
• Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
