Scheck Hillel School is expanding its educational programs and is building a pool of talented Mathematics educators for our upper school (grades 6–12). There is no immediate opening, but we invite passionate and skilled candidates to express interest for potential opportunities. OverviewWe are seeking candidates who are dedicated to creating a nurturing yet challenging learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities- Engage students in upper School Mathematics (grades 6–12) with a focus on fostering understanding and critical thinking.
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with pedagogical best practices and current learning theories.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and assess curriculum and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - At least 3 years of teaching experience in an upper school setting (grades 6–12).
- Valid teaching certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
