## Adjunct Faculty, Continuing Education/ Non-Credit# Summary Continuing Education (CE) offers a variety of courses and non-credit programs designed to respond to the diverse educational interests and lifelong learning needs of individuals of all ages. We offer certificate, credential exam preparation and licensure programs, workforce training professional development, and personal enrichment.
Continuing Education is seeking instructors to educate, train and provide professional development in non-degree courses. We are currently seeking professional IT instructors for CompTIA IT Certification Preparation Courses/Programs. Courses are taught in-person, virtual/live, and online.# Essential Functions The instructor(s) will:
* Create/implement course curriculum and exams, activities, assignments, and student assessment(s) directly related to learning objectives
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive instructional sessions
* Assess the progress and performance of students and provide feedback
* Provide technical and student support
* Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.# Qualifications/Requirements
CompTIA IT
Certifications:
IT Fundamentals+, A+, Cybersecurity+, Network+, Security+
* Earned and active certifications for the CompTIA courses they'll teach
* Minimum 3-5 years of professional information technology experience
* At least 3 years of experience in teaching or training in CompTIA/IT topics/courses
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in related field
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective training content
* Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques
