Job Information
Research Assistant Professor - Community Engaged
The Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of local, national, and global populations through education, research, and partnerships that are innovative and transformative.
Qualifications & Experience
- Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline, including public health, psychology, and social welfare, or related biomedical, behavioral, or social science.
- Prior experience in Latino health research in areas including substance use, mental health, sexual risk behaviors, and related consequences is preferred.
- Track record of scholarly publication.
- Track record of extramural funding.
- Track record of community‑engaged research activities.
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods and data analyses.
- Bilingual (Spanish, English) strongly preferred.
- Strong research experience and written and oral communications skills.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and innovative learning.
