Adjunct Faculty, English – Inside Higher Ed

Job OverviewThis adjunct faculty member teaches English courses in various modalities, including in‑person, live virtual, online, and blended formats.
Responsibilities- Teach lecture and laboratory sections.
- Evaluate and advise students.
- Participate in departmental and college affairs.
- Develop curricula.
- Recruit students.
- Serve on committees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in English from a regionally accredited institution, or a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
- Upload unofficial transcripts with cover letter and resume (redacted for personal information).
