The FIU Institute of Environment invites applications for multiple Postdoctoral Associate positions in research areas spanning freshwater, coastlines, oceans, and conservation. The Institute advances science and technology to address complex environmental challenges at local, national, and global scales. Postdoctoral Associates will work closely with faculty mentors and may: conduct original research and collaborate across disciplines; mentor and interact with graduate students;

contribute to competitive research proposals; engage in outreach and public-facing initiatives; and teach courses, when appropriate.

Candidates for the Postdoctoral Associate positions should have completed their PhD in a field related to freshwater, coastal, ocean or conservation fields, with significant interest in developing research expertise in these areas.
