This Adjunct Faculty member teaches Speech/Communications courses. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes. Start date for this Faculty position is scheduled on or before Spring Semester 2026.
What you will be doing- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Master's Degree in Speech/Communications; or a Master's Degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Speech/Communications
- All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
