First Review Date: December 18, 2025
This temporary grant‑funded position (through June 30, 2026) is responsible for developing and implementing campus‑wide programs and services for students with learning disabilities, providing specialized services, coordinating and administering diagnostic tests.
What you will be doing- Interpret and explain diagnostic tests.
- Recommend learning strategies and accommodations that assist students in compensating for their learning disabilities.
- Prepare and present information, materials, and dissemination of program information and academic advisement.
- Monitor student progress and maintain records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field and three (3) years of related experience.
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
- Training and/or experience in Special Education.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized skills.
- Strong interpersonal and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff.
The final candidate must successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
