Microbiology and Immunology – Professor

We are expanding our faculty in bacteriology, immunology, and virology. We seek applicants at all levels – Assistant, Associate, Full Professor – with outstanding research programs in infection and cancer, host/pathogen interactions, HIV/AIDS, emerging pathogens, cancer immunology, and autoimmunity. Translational focus and established funded research program are particularly desired.

Applicants will be expected to establish their research program in the exceptional environment of our disease-focused Centers, especially the Center for AIDS Research and the NCI–designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. They will also effectively contribute to both the research and teaching missions of the Department. Quality research facilities, substantial start-up funds, and salary support will be provided commensurate with rank.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent
- Translational focus with an established funded research program
- Capability to contribute to research and teaching missions
