This Adjunct faculty member teaches EAP, English for Academic Purposes courses. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

• Teach lecture and laboratory sections
• Evaluate and advise students
• Participate in departmental and College affairs
• Develop curricula
• Recruit students
• Serve on committees
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Master's Degree in TESOL or Master’s Degree and 18 graduate hours in TESOL (preferred)
• Master's Degree in Linguistics, Foreign Languages, English or Education with either 18 graduate credit hours focusing on language instruction or two years of teaching experience in ESL
• All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
