Traditional education systems force capable students into one-size-fits-all classrooms built around average outcomes. Alpha takes a different approach: personalized, student-driven learning that scales with each individual's capabilities rather than standardized timelines.
This role does not involve managing large classrooms or delivering district-mandated lesson plans. Instead, you will coach small cohorts of self-motivated learners pursuing accelerated growth and deeper mastery. If your background includes success through non‑traditional channels—competitive achievement, athletic excellence, business ventures, or creative disciplines—and you understand how to translate ambition into measurable progress, you will turn that insight into student outcomes.
Teaching certification is not necessary. Excellence is non‑negotiable.
What You Will Be Doing- Engaging students daily through direct mentorship and motivational coaching, with no traditional lecturing involved.
- Leveraging adaptive educational technology and AI‑driven platforms to enable individualized learning progressions.
- Facilitating small‑group sessions centered on leadership development, life competencies, and strategies for real‑world achievement.
- Partnering with students to identify personal strengths and broaden their goals through customized development plans.
- Providing actionable data, observations, and innovative recommendations to evolve Alpha's educational framework.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Demonstrated record of high performance (e.g., top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.).
- 3 year’s experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Willingness to work in‑person at Miami, FL;
Santa Barbara, CA; or San Francisco, CA.
