The FIU After School All Stars is currently seeking a tutor for their weekend YPP programs to join their team of professionals.

• Instruct students in Math Literacy and Skill Building activities while working with the Lead Instructor, who will lead PLTs in all facilitation of the activities.
• Report progress of activities to the site coordinator of the program on a weekly basis.

High School Diploma and 1 year of experience in subject areas or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• High School Student in good academic standing.
• Experience in student leadership on peer level.
• Minimum one year experience working with Middle/High school students.

Temporary

As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement). However, if you work on average 30 hours or more per week, you may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. You are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans such as dental and vision, which require full payment on your part.
