Part-Time College Success Coach, District Student Affairs
Location:
Wolfson Campus – Part‑time, Temporary position. Salary: $16.12 - $20.65 per hour. Department:
Student Affairs.
Reports to:

The Part‑Time College Success Coach facilitates classroom‑level support for students and serves as a student advocate. The role engages students in proactive interventions to keep them on track toward academic goals, intervenes when at‑risk students are identified, helps students stay organized with coursework, and connects them with academic and non‑cognitive supports.
Responsibilities- Assess student needs and determine appropriate action to provide referrals.
- Utilize program analytics and faculty referrals to triage at‑risk students and connect them to support services.
- Assist students in using college and campus resources, academic tutoring, advising, career services, counseling, Single Stop, disability services, financial aid, and student life.
- Use student‑success technology to provide outreach and support.
- Address at‑risk alerts and elevate student issues up the supervisory chain until resolved.
- Help students identify goals and develop action plans for goal completion.
- Facilitate transition of students to their academic advisors for subsequent semesters.
- Coordinate with advisors and recruiters in student services to ensure consistent information dissemination.
- Generate reports on student outcomes and performance indicators.
- Monitor and track student progress through the enrollment process.
- Provide high‑quality academic support, including instruction on time management, organization, study skills, and task analysis.
- Serve as liaison between students, faculty, and support services at the college.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least two years of college (60 credits) from a regionally accredited institution in a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- All degrees from a regionally accredited institution.
- Knowledge of college organization, goals, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in computer software, especially Microsoft Office and student‑success tools.
- Strong knowledge of student support programs and ability to make proper referrals.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage own schedule.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and manage workflow, priorities, and results.
- Ability to conduct workshops and presentations.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work well in a multicultural environment with students, faculty, and staff.

Successful completion of a background screening and reference check process.
