The Part-Time Tutor provides academic tutoring to students in the technology department.

• Serve as a role model and motivate students to achieve, assisting with their academic needs.
• Attend all tutor trainings and required meetings.
• Complete tutoring reports.
• Monitor students’ progress.
• Guide students to use educational software and lab resources.
• Perform other duties assigned.

• High School Diploma or accredited GED and completion of one specified college discipline course from a regionally accredited institution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong interpersonal and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to assess and provide guidance to students on the use of educational software.
• Ability to work well in a multi‑ethnic and multi‑cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff.

The final candidate must successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
