The Part‑Time STEM Tutor provides academic tutoring to students participating in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Student Fellows Program.
What you will be doing- Serve as a role model and motivate students to achieve and assist with their academic needs
- Attend all tutor trainings and required meetings
- Complete tutoring reports
- Monitor students' progress
- Guide students to use the educational software at the labs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate’s degree in a Science or Mathematics field from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of tutoring experience
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
The final candidate must successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
