True North Classical Charter, a network of high-achieving classical schools in Miami, FL, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable educator to teach High School Chemistry for the school year.
- Plan and develop rigorous and engaging classroom lessons centered around classical education principles.
- Review and dissect data to identify areas of student growth.
- Provide all students, regardless of socio-economic status, the highest quality education.
- Hold all members of the school community to high expectations grounded in timeless moral principles.
- Elevate classroom learning to develop students’ sense of wonder and love of learning.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and a culture of excellence.
- Work cooperatively with True North’s instructional coaches to learn from feedback and improve instruction quality.
- Communicate with parents regularly regarding student performance and be available outside normal hours to encourage parental involvement.
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification is not required to teach at True North.
- Must be familiar with and align with the classical liberal arts curriculum and philosophy used at True North Classical Academy.

Compensation & Benefits- Starting salary for new teachers begins at $52,470, with adjustments based on experience and expertise.
- Master’s supplement: $3,410
- Doctorate supplement: $7,920
