Summary
The Retail Learning & Development Manager, Americas leads the region's learning and talent development strategy across Directly Operated Boutiques, Franchise Boutiques, and Wholesale partners. This role designs and delivers scalable learning programs, Train-the-Trainer initiatives, onboarding, and product storytelling to drive selling excellence and commercial performance. The position requires extensive field travel to coach teams, support launches and openings, and measure learning effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute the annual Retail Learning & Development strategy aligned with DOS, Franchise, and Wholesale commercial objectives.
- Design scalable learning programs and certification standards for boutique and Wholesale partner teams.
- Create and lead a Train-the-Trainer program, including facilitator guides, role-play exercises, and trainer certification.
- Deliver product training, brand storytelling, and launch enablement across channels.
- Administer the Insider learning platform, manage learning paths, certifications, and reporting.
- Conduct regular field visits, side-by-side coaching, and partner-door assessments to identify training needs and improve sell-out.
- Measure learning impact through KPIs, assessments, and business-performance results; manage training calendar and budget.
- Collaborate with Retail Excellence, Wholesale, CRM, Marketing, Merchandising, HR, Retail Operations, Finance, and Global HQ.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-8+ years of experience in luxury retail learning & development, retail excellence, wholesale training, or field training.
- Experience supporting multi-channel organizations including directly operated retail and Wholesale distribution; experience in watches, jewelry, luxury fashion, hospitality, or premium retail preferred.
- Strong facilitation, field coaching, talent development, and Train-the-Trainer experience.
- Experience with learning-management platforms (Insider preferred) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent English;
French and/or Spanish a plus. - Valid passport and ability to travel 70-80%.
