Take charge of our day‑to‑day operations, so we remain the trusted source for aviation repair and maintenance. Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.
As a Mechanic
, you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine engine components and parts.
- Inspect engine modules and engine components.
- Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality.
- Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Comprehensive understanding of inspection of complex parts, ability to provide guidance as they arise.
- Use hand and air tools such as pneumatic grinder, restoration hammer, and pry bar.
- Use measuring devices such as caliper and micrometer.
- Team player and engage well with members to achieve common goals.
- Work towards learning and understanding cause and effects of each function within the process.
- Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations.
- Training will be provided for specific designated tasks.
- Minimum of 1 year job‑related training/experience.
- Ability to read and interpret aviation manuals, work instructions, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.
- Comprehensive understanding of inspection of complex parts, ability to provide guidance as they arise.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- FAA Power plant certification considered an asset but not required.
- Ability to understand and to restore aviation engine part to original integrity and dimensions.
- Available to work OT when needed.
