Job SummaryAs a Talent Development Professional (TDP) you will rotate through roles within the Cement division, gaining insights and developing skills needed to thrive at Cemex USA.
ResponsibilitiesDuring the program you will be immersed in key business areas, including Aggregates, Cement, Ready‑Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain. Your responsibilities include:
- Safety Excellence:
Train in safety protocols and ensure safety standards are met across operations. - Rotational Learning:
Participate in a structured rotation covering Cement Manufacturing, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Equipment Maintenance, Production Process, and Data Management. - Project Contribution:
Apply knowledge to real projects across each rotation. - Skill Development:
Build technical and soft skills through hands‑on work, training, and mentorship, enhancing leadership abilities. - Networking:
Build contacts across the company; connect with peers, mentors, and leaders. - Innovation and Improvement:
Bring innovative ideas to the table to support continuous improvement of Cement operations.
- Recent bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic/Manufacturing, Mining/Materials Science Engineering or related field.
- GPA 2.5 or above (prefer 3.0+).
- Leadership qualities and proactive approach to learning and problem‑solving.
- Strong analytical and presentation communication skills.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or heavy industry preferred.
- Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed.
- Full‑time program with potential travel based on rotation requirements.
- Mix of office work and fieldwork; exposure to outdoor industrial operations.
