This is a contract on-site role for a Geotechnical Engineer, located in Miami, FL. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil properties, and performing geotechnical engineering assessments. Day‑to‑day tasks include preparing engineering geology reports, designing foundations, and ensuring the stability and safety of construction projects. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions and facilitate the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications- Experience in site investigation and analyzing soil properties
- Proficiency in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology
- Skills in foundation design
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on‑site in Miami, FL and collaborate with diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
