Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Engineer or Hydrogeologist to join its collaborative team in Miami, FL. This individual will serve a key function in providing site exploration activities, including soil borings and monitoring well installations; conducting field tests; collecting field data and samples; monitoring construction sites; and compiling data and preparing reports. The position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, solve problems, and overcome challenges in restoring the environment and returning blighted properties to productive re-use while protecting and enhancing the environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology;
• 4+ years of experience in contaminated site investigation, remediation, and oversight;
• Professional licensure or ability to obtain within one year (for engineers);
• Experience with Phase I, II, and III environmental assessments;
• Experience with groundwater treatment system design and operation;
• Experience providing litigation support or similar services;
• Knowledge of environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA);
• Experience working with regulatory agencies;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, multitasking abilities;
• Ability to work independently and in teams;
• Availability for overtime; and
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
