Project Engineer, Environmental Engineer

Location: Miami, FL

• Preparation of design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of water/wastewater and stormwater projects including transmission, distribution, collection, treatment, storage, utility master planning, permitting and various engineering tasks.
• Hydraulic modeling including stormwater pre/post and advanced treatment and storage design as well as water and sewer pumping systems and hydraulic water distribution modeling.
• Interaction with public and private clients and other jurisdictional agencies.
• Review of design plans and assistance to a registered engineer on plan modifications; coordination with drafting personnel to ensure changes are incorporated into the design plans; review of industry and municipal standards for compliance.
• Preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and visual aids.
• Assistance on field research, data collection, analysis, graphics, maps, and data presentation, and report development.
• Time and workload management to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Limited travel for site investigations, construction observation, and project transmittals.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• E.I. Certificate preferred or eligible and scheduled for FE exam.
• Detail‑oriented with strong technical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
• Ability to work well in multidisciplinary team environments and meet deadlines.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
• Experience with Water
  
  CAD, ICPR, and other modeling software is preferred.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
