Transportation Engineer IV
Senior design engineer responsible for leading complex transportation engineering projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities Include- Oversee project activities, including establishing priorities, developing objectives, managing project budgets, and actively participating in the design process.
- Serve as a technical resource for a multidisciplinary team, providing expertise and guidance.
- Lead project engineering efforts and manage project delivery from start to finish.
- Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
- Professional society involvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of FDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida.
- Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
