Client Service Leader - Water Services

Join CDM Smith to lead client engagement and business development for water infrastructure and resource services in the South Florida market. In this role, you will drive growth, build high‑value relationships, and shape the firm’s strategy to expand its water and environmental service portfolio.

• Develop new business and maintain high‑value relationships with water and environmental infrastructure clients in the South Florida market.
• Create client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for multiple water and environmental clients.
• Coordinate with senior regional and corporate leadership to grow market share across targeted clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand CDM Smith involvement in strategic service offerings, including planning, design, permitting, construction administration, implementation, and alternative delivery.
• Develop and manage proposal efforts, business strategies, presentations, and lead contract negotiations, including terms & conditions, scope, and budget.
• Work effectively with project managers, key technical specialists, and the marketing team as a key leader to deliver quality projects to our clients.
• Lead select projects within your technical area of expertise.
• Be active in professional societies.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Travel frequency is contingent on duties and workload.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Alternative delivery experience.
• Proven experience in winning and managing large‑scale municipal water, wastewater, solid waste, and drainage projects in the South Florida market with an engineering/consulting firm.
• Strong client relationships in the municipal water and environmental markets.
