Design Civil Engineer

Civil Design Engineer – Miami, FL

We are seeking a dedicated Design Civil Engineer with experience in designing local roadways, drainage, water and sewer systems, and land development projects.

Minimum 2 years experience, proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, excellent communication skills, and thorough understanding of local regulatory agency requirements and permitting.

• Assist with planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and cost estimates using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Use maps, drawings, and engineering plans to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data.
• Recommend new approaches to improve efficiency and services.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics techniques.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, requiring use of engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The role demands both independent work and teamwork, focusing on managing multiple engineering project components efficiently.

Permanent position based out of Miami, FL.

Pay range $70,000 – $95,000/yr. Benefits: 70% subsidized medical plan, dental coverage, long‑term disability plan, 401k with 3% company contribution and profit sharing, 15 personal days per year, 7 holidays.

Hybrid position.
