Training Device Technician 3 (Flight Simulation)
Location:
Miami Training Campus, Miami, Florida.
Position is 100% on‑site with variable shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 4th, and may occasionally require rotating, night, and weekend work. Shift differential pay is included.

Position Responsibilities- Perform general inspections for pre‑operations, post‑operations, and component handling of training devices.
- Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitor device instrumentation and bench‑mounted equipment.
- Assist with repair and testing, installation, configuration, upgrade, and modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software.
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and supporting equipment.
- Troubleshoot to isolate faults and repair faulty components.
- Work under limited supervision.
- 3+ years’ experience in simulation, particularly aircrew (flight) simulators and/or trainers, or 5+ years in Aircraft Avionics Maintenance.
- 3+ years’ experience in troubleshooting and testing hardware and software.
- 3+ years’ experience with electronic/electrical systems.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may also require rotating shifts.
- 5+ years’ experience maintaining CAE, TRU, L3, and/or FSI Full Flight Simulators.
- Experience assisting in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software.
- Associate’s Degree.
