What Your Day Will Look Like:
As a transportation PD&E manager, you’ll lead the delivery community transportation improvement projects from planning, conceptual design through preliminary, and final design phases to construction. You`ll lead a planning team to deliver complex PD&E projects. The transportation PD&E manager reports to the area manager.
What You'll Do:- Lead and manage mid- to large-size transportation projects, overseeing all aspects of project lifecycle
- Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients, demonstrating innovative problem-solving abilities
- Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for PD&E projects
- Oversee the planning to design for roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects
- Assist in business development and proposal efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Provide excellent leadership, team management, communication and mentoring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
Master's degree preferred - Project Management experience in Roadway / Highway projects
- Open Roads Design software experience is a plus
- Registered Professional Engineer in FL or ability to retain PE within 1 year
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex roadway / highway projects
- Proficiency in transportation design software, including Open Roads, Microstation, and In Roads
- Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
