Engineering Technician

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support our Engineering Department through hands-on repair work on aircraft subcomponents. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with precision measurement tools, and the ability to interpret technical data.

• Disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test aircraft subcomponents in accordance with OEM and FAA-approved data.
• Record, analyze, and maintain accurate repair and test data.
• Perform calculations and estimates based on gathered data.
• Report findings and recommendations to the engineering department.
• Use dimensional tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret technical data.
• Ensure all work is performed with attention to detail in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Ability to use dimensional tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in aircraft component repair or related technical field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
