Hill International is seeking a Commissioning Agent in Miami, Florida
- Implement commissioning procedures under the direction of the Commissioning Lead.
- Review design and construction documents for compliance with commissioning requirements.
- Assist in developing commissioning checklists and schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and observe system installations.
- Perform pre-functional and functional performance tests for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
- Document deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
- Maintain accurate commissioning records and logs.
- Prepare field reports and assist in compiling final Commissioning Report.
- Ensure proper documentation of warranties, manuals, and training materials.
- Support training sessions for District staff on building systems operation.
- Verify completion of punch list items related to commissioning.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building systems commissioning or construction quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Florida Building Code, SREF, and ASHRAE commissioning guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in commissioning software and reporting tools.
- Building Commissioning Certification (e.g., BCCP, CxA) or equivalent is preferred.
- LEED Accreditation is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
