Building Services Engineer
Responsibilities
Perform third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections.
Perform inspections of foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing and related construction activity.
Perform plan reviews and determine if the permitted design plans may require revisions and make recommendations to the contractors, engineers and/or architect.
Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy.
Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections.
Follow ECS safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required
- Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
- Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
- Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
- If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
