We are specifically looking for those who have the ability to design, plan, implement, including migration to support long‑term projects in an ISP environment.

The projects will have a wide variety of technologies, so it is imperative that the engineers have the ability to learn unfamiliar product types or technologies if required.

• IP, TCP, UDP, QoS
• Routing protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP
• MPLS/IP (LDP, RSVP, RSVP‑TE, MP‑BGP, VPLS, L2
  
  VPNs, IPVPN)
• LAN Protocols: STP, RSTP, 802.1x, ISL, HSRP, VRRP, MC‑LAG
• Security: IP‑Sec VPNs and Firewalls
• Voice: SIP / Legacy

• Design and implement audit strategies (down to logical and physical circuit level)
• Correlate all audit input to assist in design and planning
• Produce High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs
• Produce Methods of Procedure
• Design migration strategies (Physical and Logical)
• Understand Access Vendors/Tails
• Build configuration (Transport and IP)
• Extract and collect data via NMS, Element Manager or directly from equipment
• Think outside the box and remain calm in the event of technical issues

• 7+ years in telecommunications/IT
• Knowledge of build or migration programmes
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
• For IP: CCNP, CCDP, CCDE, or CCIE or equivalent in another vendor
• Positive "Can do" attitude
• Good documentation and communication skills (at all levels)
• Collaborate with Project Management to build and maintain a timeline
• Good time management skills
