Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Restoration Engineer to join our team in Miami, FL
. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in structural restoration, concrete repair, waterproofing, and façade rehabilitation. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members across diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural assessments and forensic investigations of buildings and infrastructure.
• Design and oversee restoration solutions for concrete, masonry, steel, and façade systems.
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and property managers to ensure project success.
• Perform site inspections and monitor construction activities for compliance with design and safety standards.
• Provide bilingual communication and documentation for Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in restoration engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in restoration materials, techniques, and building codes.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software is a plus.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with historic preservation projects.
• Knowledge of Miami-Dade building codes and coastal construction practices.
• Familiarity with corrosion mitigation and waterproofing systems.
