Manufacturing - Packaging Lab Technician

Location:

Kendall campus. This fully on‑site role reports to the Package Engineering team and is based in the Shock & Vibration Lab.

• Assisting engineers with daily testing tasks and documenting test results to support Distribution Test Reports.
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments of products and maintaining lab housekeeping, supplies, and materials.
• Defining packaging materials with a focus on waste reduction.
• Conducting both physical testing and environmental exposure testing in the lab.
• Executing packing instructions, conducting test sequences, downloading and managing data files, and providing input to engineers.
• Managing lab schedules and participating in weekly status reports for all projects.
• The Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• The Candidate must be detail oriented, follow processes and procedures, and be timely.

• Higher education or college coursework in Packaging, Material Sciences, or related programs.
• Preferred experience in a FDA regulated field.
• Experience in technical writing; ISO and GMP as required.
• Experience or knowledge with Packaging Standards such as ASTM D series and/or ISTA.
• Experience with CAD software or similar drafting tools.
• Experience in packing or warehouse operations.
• Other engineering coursework such as Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• College education in Packaging, Material Sciences, or related programs.
• Experience with Packaging Standards such as ASTM D series and/or ISTA.
• CAD or drafting and design experience.
• Packing or Warehouse experience.
