Lead HVAC design for high-rise multifamily and commercial projects with $120K-$145K compensation and direct exposure to cooling tower and smoke control systems.

We are representing a Miami-based multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, construction administration, permitting, energy audit, and energy-modeling services.

The firm supports complex residential and commercial building projects, including high-rise multifamily, condominium, office, restaurant, and mixed-use developments, with an emphasis on coordinated, efficient building-system design.

The Senior HVAC Design Engineer will lead and execute HVAC system design for high-rise multifamily, condominium, office, restaurant, and other commercial building projects. The role requires strong technical depth in complex mechanical systems, including cooling tower and smoke control applications.

• Design HVAC systems for high-rise multifamily, condominium, office, restaurant, and commercial projects
• Develop cooling tower and associated central mechanical system designs
• Design and coordinate smoke control systems for high-rise buildings
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment sizing
• Develop ventilation, exhaust, ductwork, hydronic, and mechanical equipment layouts
• Produce and review mechanical construction drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Coordinate HVAC systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines
• Provide senior-level technical guidance and design review throughout project development

• 7+ years of HVAC or mechanical building-systems design experience
• Demonstrated experience designing HVAC systems for high-rise multifamily or condominium projects
• Experience with office, restaurant, or comparable commercial building projects
• Hands-on cooling tower system design experience
• Hands-on smoke control system design experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction documents and multidisciplinary coordination
• Revit MEP and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
