This Opportunity: RMA’s team is growing, and we have opportunities for Construction Materials Testing Technicians in Hollywood, FL to perform field inspections and observations for commercial, industrial, and transportation related construction projects. We are seeking construction professionals looking to branch their career into testing and inspection.

• Perform testing on general industrial, residential and commercial construction sites and facilities
• Interpret project plans and specifications for compliance with projects requirements
• Perform soil density testing using density gauges in accordance with ASTM and project specifications on site at
• Perform sampling and testing of concrete in accordance with ASTM and project specifications
• Prepare and submit digitally written field reports summarizing daily activities/observations, calculations and results
• Observe proof rolls, undercut operations, perform footing inspections, and inspect rebar
• Test and work in accordance with Company safety policies
• Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications
• Interact with client representative (supervisors, foremen, project managers, engineers, etc.) at project sites
• Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing data
