Customer Service Rep
Overview
A dual role: valet attendant parks 10‑15 cars per day and assists at the front desk when no cars are to be parked. This is a luxury private residential condo property. The hourly rate compensates occasional tips. Experience in valet and proficiency in English are required, along with a good attitude and willingness to assist at all times.
Responsibilities- Greet guests as their vehicle approaches the entrance.
- Maintain the “key” control system, ensuring all keys are locked at all times and keeping a count of all keys in your area.
- Direct contractors to designated parking spaces for contractors, service vendors, delivery trucks, etc.
- Maintain order and control of the vehicles in the parking lot.
- Keep the front area clean and neat, sweeping entrance area as needed and keeping the front door free of fingerprints and dirt.
- Keep "pass down" notes updated in the system.
- Follow all procedures regarding packages and correspondence delivered to the community for residences; handle all phone calls to residents in a clear, professional manner.
- Direct all inquiries regarding all Association affairs to the management office.
- Report any violations of the Rules and Regulations that are noticed at any time.
- Report all maintenance items—including but not limited to burned out lights, leaks, or broken equipment—to the Association office daily.
- Receive all telephone calls in a professional manner utilizing proper phone etiquette.
- Maintain the Front Desk area in a professional and presentable condition.
- Control the service elevator keys during move‑ins/outs and deliveries.
- Control the valet carts, ensuring they are in use by authorized personnel and stored appropriately.
- Follow all standards, policies, and procedures regarding emergency response by coordinating with Management, Chief Engineer, or Fire Rescue / Police services.
- Be familiar with the fire alarm system operations and report all incidents to management.
Full‑time or part‑time. Current available shifts are Saturday 8am‑4pm, 4pm‑12 midnight;
Sunday 8am‑4pm, 4pm‑12 midnight. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
This position works indoors and outdoors and is exposed to the outside climate year‑round.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, frequently stand and walk, and use hands and arms to reach. The employee will be required to lift objects up to 25 lbs and operate vehicles with automatic and manual transmission.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Previous experience as a Valet attendant.
- Must have three years of driving experience.
- High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
- Employees must possess a valid driver’s license in the State of Florida.
