We are on the hunt for a super talented Casino Cashier who is passionate about providing a stellar experience for the guests that visit our onboard Casino.

This someone will have exceptional customer service skills and will make our visiting guests feel welcome. The lucky crew member selected for this role will deliver outstanding service when conducting financial interactions in the Casino.

In other words, this someone needs to know how to Make Ship Happen. Your excellent attention to detail and self‑starter mentality means you can think quick on your feet and keep calm when ship gets real. Ultimately, we won’t be able to remember how we got by without you.

• Responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of all cash, chip, token, markers and onboard account transactions.
• Responsible for providing outstanding customer service by recognizing and remembering Sailors and their names.
• Responsible for banking assigned area accurately and swiftly demonstrating a high level of organization and tidiness.
• Responsible for the accurate and prompt performance on revenue counts (soft and/or stacker counts) as instructed by the Cash Desk Manager.
• Required to provide a positive first impression to every Sailor and, where possible, aims to recognize them by name.
• Assists Sailor's by providing knowledge and guidance on Casino services, products and activities.
• Be familiar with all cruise services/features and activations to respond to Sailor inquiries accurately.
• Extend courteous salutations when guests leave outlet and invite them to return.
• Communicate any potential loss to Cash Desk Manager on board.
• Refer any disputes or disagreements within their area to the Cash Desk Manager and seek to resolve.
• Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as required by Head of Department.
• Ensure that the set standards are kept and staff members work according to their respective job descriptions.
• Adhere to all health, safety, security and environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive Sailor relations at all times.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cashier in a Casino onboard a Cruise ship or a Casino ashore. Passionate about people and able to handle guest complaints with a smile!
• All certificates as required by the STCW code for this position.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Last appraisal report to be submitted together with the SeaV.
