Position: Senior Accountant (Miami, FL)

Our client, a fast-growing hospitality services company located in downtown Miami, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and multi‑entity consolidation processes.

This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity that offers a base salary of $90,.

Description
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, intercompany activity, and multi‑entity consolidations.
  • Lead P&L management across business units, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
  • Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, external audits, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Establish, enhance, and monitor internal controls and compliance processes.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, financial modeling, cost optimization, and KPI development.
  • Oversee tax filings, intercompany accounting, and cash flow management.
  • Drive systems and process improvements, including automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including multi‑entity consolidation and P&L responsibility.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including team development and oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, compliance requirements, audit preparation, and internal control frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical abilities—budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel/reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) to support oversight across multiple legal entities.
