About the Role

The Loan and Lease Operations and Accounting Manager directs and oversees the operations and accounting function for the franchise and commercial loan and lease portfolio to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable banking regulations. Responsibilities include accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and effective management of loan and lease activities such as payment processing, client communications, renewals, and modifications.

• Oversee loan and lease portfolio accounting processes and systems to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established policies.
• Direct operation, maintenance, and testing of system of record (Aspire) and validate system accuracy through supervisory review.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of lease data prior to booking by establishing review protocols and delegating verification tasks.
• Monitor transaction activity from Aspire into Prologue and ensure proper reconciliation through oversight of staff processes.
• Supervise the property tax and sales/use tax process to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and enforce formal accounting policies, procedures, and guidelines to support organizational objectives.
• Manage loan and lease activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.

• 10+ years of finance & accounting and franchise development.
• 2+ years experience managing and supervising a team.
• Good professional judgment with quick decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Analytical and numerical reasoning ability.
• Experience researching and clearly documenting accounting issues and applicable accounting standards.
• Ability to read complex documents, synthesize and summarize important facts.
• Ability to manage and motivate teams at all levels.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting equivalent.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
