This opportunity entails performing routine cost analysis assignments requiring knowledge of basic cost analysis principles. Preparing and maintaining client budgets for projects/programs. Managing the vetting and recording of costs for projects. Reviewing and analyzing project invoices. Monitoring cost history to develop trends and forecast cost ablishing and tracking contingency funds.

• Reviews, analyzes, and processes invoices and payment applications.
• Operates budget/cost system, including documenting and tracking changes to budget, commitments, and expenditures. May manage budget/cost function for a small project or portion of a project with direct supervision.
• Generates standard and ad hoc reports including budget reports, forecast-at-completion estimates, and other reports under guidance.
• Tracks project estimate-at-completion (EAC) by recording all potential and actual changes to cost accounts, including change orders, trends, and deviations.
• Records transactions related to budget, commitments, expenditures, or forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Associate's degree in Construction Management or Accounting.
• In lieu of education, 2 years of relevant experience.

• Review and process Design/Construction invoices, service orders, work orders, project orders, change orders, notice to proceed, reduction of retainage, substantial completion and contract closing documents.
• Reconcile project accounts, budgets and reports.
• Review Miami Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) contracts.
• Assist with MDAD weekly closing process (Requisition s and QA/QC).
• Work with MDAD SharePoint system.
• Review and post MDAD bond bank statements monthly.
• Hyperlink/archive executed construction documents.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
