Job DescriptionActivation Specialist & Payment Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Activation Specialist & Payment Manager to oversee merchant activations, payment processing, reconciliations, and operational workflows across multiple portfolios and regions. This role is essential to ensuring accurate funding, payment execution, reporting, and merchant lifecycle management.
Key ResponsibilitiesMerchant Activations & Lifecycle Management
Manage merchant activations within Orgmeter across multiple portfolios
Oversee activations for U.S., Canadian, and international portfolios
Maintain and update activation records and required documentation
Generate and manage merchant letters and activation notices
Prepare payoff letters, balance statements, and related documentation
Payments, Debits & ReconciliationsGenerate and distribute daily bounce reports from multiple banking platforms
Review CSV files to identify and track returned or failed payments
Monitor and reconcile merchant debits, payments, and reversals
Coordinate resolution of payment issues with internal teams and banking partners
Support high-volume and time-sensitive funding and payment workflows
Reporting & Data ManagementMaintain Excel and Google Sheets trackers for activations and payments
Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational data
Produce internal reports to support management decision-making
Cross-Functional & Operational SupportCollaborate with U.S. and international teams to ensure smooth operations
Provide coverage during limited staffing periods
Support cross-border payment and operational processes
Qualifications2-5 years of experience in operations, payments, or financial services
Strong understanding of payment processing and reconciliation workflows
High proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work ScheduleMonday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
